Welcome to La Gondola Restaurant
La Gondola restaurant has been family run since 2001 and continues to be managed by Luca and Elaine Martone. Helping on-site is also their two children Georgia and Emilio and working alongside Luca in the kitchen is his brother Michele. Luca being the head chef personally makes sure all the dishes prepared and served to his valued customers are to the highest standard. He is committed to serving quality Italian cuisine to his regular and new customers. Elaine and her team at the front of the house create a warm, welcoming environment.
Luca arrived in Scotland from Benevento Italy, a small town close to Naples at the age of Thirteen. He started from the bottom working in restaurants cleaning dishes and has worked tirelessly to get to where he is now. Luca from a very young age had a passion for cooking and taught himself how to create his tasty dishes inspired by his home town cuisine with a modern twist.
